Terms of Service
Last updated 2 August 2026
These terms cover using Tugon — both running a page and visiting one. Using the product means accepting them.
Written plainly on purpose. A term nobody reads protects nobody.
What Tugon is
A page that carries an owner’s links and an assistant that answers questions about their work and books appointments in their calendar. The assistant answers from what the owner has told it and nothing else.
Accounts
You need an email address to sign in, you must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Usernames are first-come; we may reclaim one that impersonates someone or is being squatted.
What owners are responsible for
Everything on the page and everything the assistant is told. That includes the accuracy of prices, availability and claims about your work — the assistant repeats what you give it, and it is your business on the line if that is wrong.
If you turn on collection of a visitor’s age or gender for a service, you are responsible for having a reason and for handling those answers lawfully. Tugon makes the assistant disclose where the details go, but it cannot justify the question for you.
If you attach a payment link, it is yours. Tugon does not process the payment, does not hold the money, and cannot confirm one was made — see Payments below.
What you may not do
Impersonate someone, break the law, publish content you have no right to, or use a page to harass anyone. Do not use Tugon to send unsolicited mail, and do not try to exhaust another owner’s reply allowance or hammer the service automatically. Accounts doing these things get suspended.
Bookings
A booking made through Tugon is an arrangement between the visitor and the owner. Tugon is not a party to it. We are not responsible for an appointment that is missed, cancelled, refused or turns out differently than expected.
The assistant only ever offers times it read from the owner’s availability at that moment. We make a genuine effort to avoid double-booking, but a calendar can change between a slot being offered and a booking being made.
Payments
Subscriptions: paid plans are billed through Paddle, the merchant of record, under their terms. Plans renew until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves access until the period ends.
Deposits an owner asks for: these go through whatever link the owner supplies and never touch Tugon. Nothing in the product verifies that such a payment happened. A visitor may upload a screenshot, and the owner marks it as paid on trust — the product says so explicitly wherever that happens, and the assistant is forbidden from claiming a payment was received.
The assistant’s limits
Replies are generated by a language model. It can be wrong. It is constrained to the owner’s material and instructed not to invent prices, times or policies, but neither we nor the owner guarantee every answer is correct. Treat an answer as what a helpful assistant would say, not as a contract.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Tugon running and make no uptime promise. Features may change or be withdrawn. If we change these terms materially we will update the date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be signalled in the product rather than made quietly.
Ending it
You can stop using Tugon and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless we are legally unable to.
Liability
Tugon is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost business or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy
What we collect and what we do with it is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
